On the 12th and 13th of October London’s Earls Court was host to the first event aimed purely at the youth community of the UK: Youth Enterprise Live. The Start Smarter team was there, here is our take on the event…

About Youth Enterprise Live:

Youth Enterprise Live is the first exhibition aimed purely at the youth community of the UK.

The event covered education, employability, enterprise and enterprise in education. Needless to say we were there to cover enterprise and enterprise in education.

Besides Start Smarter Peter Jones Academy, Start-Up Loans, Startup Britain, InspirEngage and Enterprise Lab were amongst the exhibitors.

What was the role of Start Smarter at the event?

We were there as exhibitors with the aim of showing young entrepreneurs and educational establishments who we are, what we do and how we can help them.

We showcased our website and services to the visitors who we did not fail to impress.

Excellent design, user-friendliness and engaging content were a few things which we were complimented on.

How would you rate the event?

I would safely say the event was a total success not just for Start Smarter but overall.

There was a great turnout, a large number of exhibitors covering many aspects of enterprise from training to finance and it was well run without any faults.

We managed to signup hundreds of impressed subscribers, make fantastic contacts and met some truly inspiring and ambitious people.

Would you recommend this event?

Most definitely, whether you’re planning on coming as an exhibitor or a visitor this event is a must.

The seminars were incredible. Many aspects of enterprise and education were covered by fantastic speakers including our own Adam Niazi, Melody Hossaini and Karl Belizaire.

There are plenty of things to learn, contacts to be made and opportunities to grasp.

A big thank you…
