What is the Journalism Experience Program?

The Volunteer Journalism Program was developed by us [Start Smarter] for a few reasons, some of which are:

  • To help keep British businesses informed and knowledgeable by writing for us and publishing informative news.
  • Contribute to help keeping Start Smarter free for readers.
  • Give passionate writers a platform they can use to publish their news to the world.

Join the Volunteer Journalism Program – Application Form

1. Personal Information

This is information we need to know about yourself for administrative and contact purposes.

Applicants must be over the age of eighteen, we need this information to clarify your age.

2. Education & Experience

We'd like to know about your past education and work experience. We do not use this information to determine wether or not to recruit you as a volunteer but to merely get an understanding of your past experiences.

3. Final Steps

Here is where you tell us why you would like to volunteer for Start Smarter Magazine. You also have the option to upload a CV and cover letter. This is optional and will not effect your application, it simply helps us get to know you better.
